In doing so, you’ll also get to see picnic spots, lakes, ponds, ‘zorrs’ (natural springs), bunds, canals, mangroves, islands, and even a few relatively unknown heritage sites. You even get to visit an old Goan home and perhaps indulge in a local meal or teatime snack as well. The best part about these excursions is that there is always a delightful surprise element to these ‘passois’ or walks which aren’t disclosed until the last minute.
